1. Plastic Ban
The European Union issued a plastic restriction order in 2019, requiring member states to ban the use of disposable plastic products with alternatives by June 2021.
The United States started implementing a plastic bag ban on March 1, 2020.
China's plastic restriction order requires a 30% reduction in the consumption intensity of non-degradable disposable plastic tableware in the catering and takeaway sectors in cities above the prefecture level by 2025.
